Golf Should Be Fun, Social & Accessible
Our Story
Offscript was created because we, as public golfers, wished we could experience more casual, competitive golf besides a charity outing once a year. To us, there is nothing better than getting friends together to compete in a fun, laid-back golf event — even if you might not have a serious shot at winning it. We wanted anyone to be able to experience that on a regular basis without having to be a member at a private club, pay an arm and a leg for entrance fees, or be grandfathered into the annual charity outing.
One of our priorities was creating a community that is welcoming to any type of golfer: guys, girls, great golfers, newcomers that can barely get it off the tee, and especially that one friend who spends 90% of their day in the trees but brings unmatched energy. The point is, Offscript truly is for ANYONE. The non-intimidating nature of our season-long competitions and events attract laid-back golfers and make it easy to make new friends while you compete alongside them for prizes, and of course pride.
If you are someone that loves playing in leagues with friends, meeting new people, some friendly competition, and (maybe) some cold ones — then Offscript is for you. We can't wait to see you on the course sometime soon, and when you see one of us shanking it just remember that Offscript was built BY the average golfer FOR the average golfer.

Peter Marchetti
After playing for years in my "locally famous" annual charity event, The Twisted Tea Off, I wanted to make these kind of get-togethers a regular thing. I love to turn anything into a competition and played basketball for a year at Colby College in Maine before transferring and becoming a washed up athlete at Clemson. Although I did not grow up a huge golfer, my day job is also in the industry doing sustainability consulting for private clubs.
Hometown: Norwell, MA
Favorite Course: The Walker Course at my alma mater, Clemson University. If you ever play, don't forget to take note of the tiger paw green on 17!
Favorite Golf Memory: In a charity golf outing with my dad and grandfather we Eagled using my drive, my dad's approach shot, and my grandfather's 20 foot putt. The tri-generation eagle will be tough to top.
